Taking The Chlorine Out Of The Tank

I had just bought a new dwarf gouramis fish for my fish tank.  I already have four gold fish in the tank and bought the dwarf gouramis fish because I heard it lives well with other fish.  I didn’t want a fish that would cause tension in the tank.  The pet store clerk recomended I picked up an aquarium water treatment  bottle and squirted a few drops in the tank before I placed the dwarf gouramis fish in the tank.  This will help remove the extra chlorine in the tank.  If chlorine is found in the tank this could cause death to the dwarf gouramis.
