His Airway Was Almost Instantly Cut Off

I am stunned at what I just heard. One of my friend’s sons was playing outside this morning, and he stuck his head in the loop of a rope that the kids use for a swing. He was trying to tease his brothers and sisters, but it backfired on him. Somehow, he got himself all twisted up in it, and then his foot slipped. His airway was almost instantly cut off. If it weren’t for the fact that his older sister had taken a Los Angeles CPR class, he would have died. She cut the rope off of him and use the techniques she had learned to save his life.
