I work in a project that installs user computers to schools mainly in the rural area. Needless to say, the computers are not the latest high-end machines we see in the city. That makes using anti-virus even more vital, because we have a smaller number of total processing power to work with. I know to have avg free download ready in every computer I set up. The teachers can make using and installing anti-virus software a part of their teachings even. I think it goes a long way to start spreading the knowledge about keeping yourself safe on the web with the youngest of our population.
