Law Internship Jobs

A law internship may be available with a law firm, in-house legal department of a company, public interest firms operating in legal area or government organizations. A law internship is aimed at educating students on practical aspects of various practice areas like family law, criminal law, corporate law, real estate law, corporate law, public interest law, civil law and other laws. A student pursuing law internship may be required to perform various tasks like drafting documents, receiving phone calls or inquiries from clients, attending court with attorneys, performing administrative tasks for the attorney, scheduling conferences, receiving documents from clients etc. A law internship is generally taken under supervision of a junior attorney. A law internship may be available to law students pursuing bachelor’s degree in law or an LL.M. Excellent academic credentials are required. A law internship may be paid or volunteer. Some attorneys may offer part-time law internships or full-time law internships/summer associate positions.
