Creating a Single Spoken Language through Spanish Translation

The most widely spoken language in the romance world is Spanish, which accounts for both the number of countries in which the language is dominant and the number of speakers. With over 400 million speakers worldwide, the usage and pronunciation of the language will obviously vary among countries, although the regional differences aren’t so great to make the language incomprehensible to speakers from the different regions.

Convergent to popular and widespread belief, there is no such thing as a single spoken ‘Spanish’. This is because of the many different dialects of Spanish due to the advancement of the Spanish in different regions. As such, Spanish translation seeks to create a single spoken language that can be comprehensible among all the Spanish dialects.
