Becoming a Defense Attorney
When I started studying law I was bent on becoming either a corporate lawyer or a prosecutor; it never crossed my mind to become a criminal defense lawyer, for some reason. It seems like a lot of hard work and I couldn’t find it in me to protect the culprit. Luckily, my uncle who was one of the best criminal defense attorneys in Los Angeles explained to me that there is a need for lawyers not only because of the crime rate in LA but also to prevent an innocent man from being sent to prison. They are after all, innocent until proven guilty.
